After his excellent win on the first of two hilly stages in the 4 Days of Dunkirk, Sylvain Chavanel headed into today's queen stage of the race with the intention of taking the leader's jersey off Arnaud Demare's shoulders. The Frenchman made a brave move 30km from the finish but after failing to stay away to the finish, he has no regrets about what was a surprisingly early attack.
