Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung has announced its line up for the 10th edition of the Tour of Britain. The race kicks off in Peebles on Sunday and will finish in London eight days later. Gerald Ciolek makes his debut in the British event and will lead the team amongst an already confirmed star studded line- up.
Ferekalsi Debesay, Meron Russom and Songezo Jim will make up the African contingent of the team while Andreas Stauff will be Ciolek’s trusted last man in the sprints. Climber Sergio Pardilla rounds up the line-up after completing several races in Italy.
“Our team will show what we are about,” Sports Director, Jens Zemke said. “By bringing three African riders, plus three experienced Europeans competing with the absolute world class field is like a dream come true. Tour of Britain will be an amazing race with their national heroes and we are proud to be part of it.”
