Stef Clement's contract with IAM Cycling has been extended by one year. The 33-year-old Dutchman who crashed in the Giro but rode strongly in the Tour, is reasdy to embard on a second year with the Swiss team.
De Telegraaf has reported thew news and the Dutchman has confirmed it via Twitter. Clement joined the team after several years at Belkin. His best individual result was a second place at the European Games time trial in Baku. Since IAM does not offer contracts of more than one year, one extra season was the only possible outcome of the negotiations.
