Cofidis have announced the addition of Anthony Perez (1991) from the amateur AVC Aix en Provence team. He is the 26th rider of the French team even though they had initially finalized the roster which will again be led by Nacer Bouhanni.
Anthony Perez joins the other signings Borut Bozic (Astana), Rayane Bouhanni (AWT Greenway), Jérôme Cousin (Team Europcar), Hugo Hofstetter (stagaire) and Arnold Jeannesson (FDJ). They will all attend a training camp in Lloret de Mar from December 8-16.
Perez took several victories in 2015, the Circuit de Saône-et-Loire (and a stage win), a stage in the Tour du Piémont Pyrénéens, the Grand Prix à Marmande Tomato and Circuit de Puy. He was second in the time trial at the French amateur championships and won two stages at the Tour des Pays de Savoie (2.2).
