With two stage wins and the second place in final classification at Tour du Limousin, Bardiani-CSF is ready to continue its French campaign at the Tour du Poitou-Charantes. The five-stage race will be the chance for the #GreenTeam to increase its seasonal tally, now at eight, and to prepare for its next World Tour event, Bretagne Classic on Sunday, in the best way.
Eight riders will be directed by team directors Roberto Reverberi and Claudio Cucinotta: Tour du Limousin’s star performer Sonny Colbrelli, Simone Andreetta, Nicola Boem, Lorenzo Rota, Edoardo Zardini, Nicola Ruffoni (who won a stage in 2014), Enrico Barbin and Simone Velasco.
“We’re going to face Tour du Poitou-Charantes with high morale and self confidence,” said Reverberi. “So far our season has been pretty positive. We don’t have the pressure to win to save itbut at the same time, we have the push to make this year more and more special. The guys feel good and we had proof at Limousin. We just need to race as a compact team to use the individual potential”.
