Sonny Colbrelli has taken 5th place at the end of the 69th Coppa Agostoni. The #Greenteam rider was close to the podium after strong work of the whole Bardiani - CSF team that forced the pace in the peloton in the finale, trying to catch Rebellin (CCC), Nibali (Astana) and Scarponi (Astana) who pulled away and narrowly stayed away.

”The goal today was to win and with all my team-mates we did a strong effort during the whole race. I launched a long final sprint, trying to catch Rebellin and Nibali. Unfortunately it didn’t work and in the last 50 meters Bonifazio and Nizzolo passed me. Now it’s important to turn the page and think about Coppa Bernocchi tomorrow," Colbrelli said.
