A few weeks ago Jarlinson Pantano and Robinson Chalaud complained that their Colombia team had not paid their salaries for several months. Now the South American team reports that they are about to solve the problem.
The Colombia team is working to solve its problems with missing wages for their team. The riders of Claudio Corti's professional team who had not been paid their salaries for five months, should receive their first pay in the next few days according to statements made by the team to Ciclismo Internacional.
"The situation is being resolved. As everyone knows there has been a delay but now the money has been provided by Coldeportes and the salaries for the riders has started to arrive. Everything will be worked out in a few days but for bureaucratic reasons Coldeportes can not give the money directly to the team. They have to send it to the Colombian Olympic Committee which forwards it to the team."
