Chassot Concept, the company organizing the Tour de Romandie, has revealed the route of the 2017 edition which will have two summit finishes, a prologue and a final time trial. The course is very similar to the one used in 2016.
At the end of 2015, Richard Chassot announced a second summit finish for 2016 where the climbers had a chance both in Morgins and Villars-sur-Ollon where the winners were Nairo Quintana (after relegation of Ilnur Zakarin) and Chris Froome respectively. It was a successful novelt which will be repeated in the 2017 edition which will have mountaintop finishes in Champery on the first stage (after the prologue) and Leysin on the penultimate stage.
