The Critérium du Dauphiné will return to Alpe d'Huez. After the mythical climb last hosted a finish in 2010, the riders will again tackle the 21 bends during the edition 2017.
Bike-oisans.com reports that the famous climb will host the finish of the penultimate stage of the race. The last winner here was Alberto Contador who beat Janez Brajkovic. The Slovenian then won the overall the next day.
The race also did the climb in 2013 but back then the stage did not finish at the top.
