Today CULT Energy Pro Cycling received an invitation to the 2015 edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege. It’s the oldest of the big spring classics, dates back to 1892 and takes place in the Ardennes region of Belgium. More than 250 kilometers are on the menu for the fortunate riders on the start line for “La Doyenne”.
DS André Steensen was thrilled about the good news:
“Obviously, this is a big thing for us and our sponsors. We’re already invited to do the Amstel Gold Race and we didn’t dare to dream of another invitation for one of the big classics. Personally, I think LBL is the biggest one-day race of the season with the demanding distance and long climbs. In terms of the team, this is a huge opportunity for guys like Rasmus Guldhammer who has won the U23 edition of the race and for Linus Gerdemann who has already demonstrated good shape."
Liege-Bastogne-Liege takes place on April 26th.
