WIth Damiano Cunego as the clear leader, Nippo-Vini Fantini-De Rosa are ready for their first season at the pro continental level. The team has finalized its roster, with Cunego being joined by Daniele Colli, Mattia Pozzo and Pierpaolo De Negri in the young team.
The Italian-Japanese Nippo Vini Fantini-De Rosa team has unveiled its roster for the 2015 season in which they will make the jump from the Continental to the Professional Continental ranks.
The leader of the team will be Damiano Cunego who leaves Lampre-Merida after ten years with Giuseppe Saronni's team. At his side, he will have Pierpaolo De Negri, Eduard Grosu, Manabu Ishibashi, Shiki Kuroeda Alessandro Malaguti, Riccardo Starcchiotto, Antonio Viola and Genki Yamamoto who have all renewed their contracts.
The new signings are Mattia Pozzo and Daniele Colli (Neri Sottoli) and Yuri Filosi (neo-pro) - winner of two stages in the Vuelta a Bidasoa - Nicolas Marini and Giacomo Berlato (Zalf) and Antonio Nibali (Marchiol).
The team will have a feeder team at the continental level which will be sponsored by Champion System and be directed by the duo of Francky Van Haesebroucke and Ken Hashikawa. The roster which will be revealed soon, will feature three Japanese riders and several riders from New Zealand.
