Halfway through the Ghent Six Days young Belgian talent Jasper De Buyst and his German team mate Leif Lampater continue to lead the race.
The duo won the first Madison of the night and enjoyed a lead of more than 40 points at the end of the evening.
Pre race favourites Keisse/Stroetinga are in the same lap, while Belgian duo De Ketele/Van Hoecke is just one point away from getting a bonus lap and thus join the leading two teams. These three teams are likely to round out the podium as French world Madison champions Kneisky/Brisse trail by too many points to pose a serious and realistic challenge.
