Kenny De Ketele and Jasper De Buyst once again took the lead from Nike Terpstra and Iljo Keisse during day four of the Rotterdam Six-Day. But the overall fight has got closer and two duos has joined the fight: Jens Mouris and Wim Stroetinga, winners of the big chase, and Michael Mørkøv and Alex Rasmussen.

The second Madison began as a battle between De Ketele/De Buyst and Terpstra/Keisse. However, gruelling attacks helped duos Mouris/Stroetinga and Danes Mørkøv/Rasmussen move ahead. Thanks to the lap they each gained, four couples sit on the lead lap with only points separating them.

“It’s going to be a real fight now,” said De Ketele. “It’s hard to control with four teams,” added team-mate De Buyst. “And the other three duos are very strong as well.”

In the Madison of the night, Mouris and Stroetinga took the win and the 20 points which follows. The Danish duo Mørkøv and Rasmussen finished second, 0 rounds after and took the 12 points. Terpstra and Keisse, the leaders from yesterday, finished 3rd one round after and took the 10 points. The new leaders De Ketele and De Buyst finished 5th, also one round after and took 6 points.

The Derny was won by Yoeri Havik and Nick Stöpler. De Ketele and De Buyst finished 2nd and leaders Terpstra and Keisse finished 3rd. The Elimination race saw Mørkøv and Rasmussen as winners, De Ketele and De Buyst 2nd and the last podium place was taken by Jens Mouris and Wim Stroetinga.

The results of the day have made some changes in the overall standings. Terpstra and Keisse have lost the leading place to De Ketele and De Buyst. Mørkøv/Rasmussen and Mouris/Stroetinga have moved closer to the two leading teams and all four teams are only separated by points:
