Today Argentina Daniel Diaz (Funvic-São José dos Campos) will try to defend his lead in the Tour de San Luis in the second big summit finish of the race on the Alto el Amago climb. The race leader expects big differences.

"Tomorrow we will see what decisions to make on the climb. It is long an irregular. I will try to make use of it because after that we have the time trial which is not by strong point," he said.

Diaz will try to defend orange jersey and his six-second lead over Colombian Rodolfo Torres (Colombia-Coldeportes) and 24-secnd lead over Brazilian Kleber Da Silva (Funvic-São José dos Campos) who he see as his direct rivals "as they have proved on the road."

He also mentioned Spaniard Dani Moreno (Katusha) who is sixth at 27 seconds but defending champion Nairo Quintana (Movistar) who is in the same time as Moreno.
