National pride is something which is held in high regard at Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka, with winning as many national champions jerseys as possible being one of the African Team's main goals this season. 15 of the riders will be represented in 9 separate national championships over the coming week.
After already securing the South African national jersey earlier in the year, the African Team are hoping to defend the Eritrean national titles won last year by Natnael Berhane (Road Race) and Daniel Teklehaimanot (Time Trial), the Norwegian national titles won by Edvald Boasson Hagen (Road & Time Trial) and challenging for new titles in 7 other nations.
