Tom Dumoulin targets a comeback in the Vuelta a Espana. One week ago the he crashed in the Tour de France and was forced to abandon with a shoulder injury.
The recovery of the shoulder injury requires six weeks. His Giant-Alpecin team hope to have him back for the Spanish Grand Tour.
"We aim to have Tom at the start there," team manager Marc Reef told De Telegraaf . "But I cannot say whether it is feasible. If that's too soon, he will make his comeback in the Canadian races GP Quebec and Montreal. But we should not expect great things from Tom immediately when he's back. The Worlds in Richmond is when we expect him to be back on track again."
