According to De Telegraaf, Louis Delahaye will not stay with LottoNL-Jumbo in 2016. The coach has made the decision himself to reduce the amount of work. However, he will continue to guide a few riders, inclduing Robert Gesink. Delahaye is also working with the Dutch Triathlon Federation.
With the departure of Delahaye, there will be a number of changes in the sporting management of LottoNL-Jumbo. Nico Verhoeven will be travelling less in 2016 as he's going to fill the role of technical director. Addy Engels will fill Verhoeven's spot. He arrives from Giant-Alpecin. team of about Verhoeven. He comes from Allegiant Alpecin. Matthieu Heijboer will take over Delahaye's job.
Delahaye will continue to assist some riders. He will create training programs for Martijn Keizer and Maarten Wynants and he will still accompany Robert Gesink during his preparationfor the Tour de France and the altitude training camps. "And maybe I'll have a new challenge in a year. I would like again accompany an athlete in an Olympic program. That's what I'm going to think about it," Delahaye tells L1.
