They didn’t win any of the two Madisons on the second night of the Berlin Six Days but Dutchmen Havik and Stöpler nevertheless managed to increase their overall lead thanks to their win in the team elimination. This victory gave them 20 points which were sufficient to take them past the 100 points mark and earn them a bonus lap.

The first Madison of the evening was won by pre-race favourites Kenny de Ketele and Moreno de Pauw from Belgium ahead of home crowd favourites Marcel Kalz and Roger Kluge. Later the German team won the long Madison of the evening and they are now very close to joining the front duo as just six points separate them from a bonus lap.
