Traditionally Sunday is a day of relative peace and calm for the favourites in a Six Days race and this year’s edition of the event in Berlin was no exception. The three top teams eased off somewhat in the Madison and let other teams compete for glory.

Morgan Kneisky and David Muntaner won the first Madison of the afternoon and gained a lap on everybody else except Nico Heßlich and Christian Grasmann while the British duo of Burton and Stewart won the second Madison.

Overall, though, the three top teams, Stöpler/Havik, Kalz/Kluge and de Ketele/de Pauw remain in the driver’s seat and look set to decide the outcome of the race amongst themselves. Just four points separate the trio going into the final two nights.
