Belgian rider Romain Zingle, professional for Cofidis since 2010 (2 participations in the Tour de France, 3 in the Vuelta a Espana), recently underwent cardiological tests and an MRI control. The 28 year-old announced on Wednesday his decision to end his career with immediate effect due to his heart problems.
His heart problems had prevented him from racing this season and the last exams taken Monday confirmed the nature of evil that causes an inability to practice professional cycling.
