Jimmy Engoulvent was not the fastest rider during the Tour de Luxembourg's evening prologue on Wednesday. The Team Europcar rider finished 4th, 4 seconds behin Adrien Petit, the first leader of the race. According to Luxemburger Wort, he said that the key was the management of the effort.
"I think I did a good prologue. I did not make any mistake. With the new part of the prologue, it was different, very difficult. We had to manage our strenght in the climb because the final meters were very hard. I think I did my best time", he said just after the finish. "Cyril Lemoine, who is a reference, finished two seconds behind me. In any case, I'm certainly happy with what I showed.
"We have a good team in this race. We are very motivated. There will be opportunities to win a stage for sure. But there are very good teams and difficult stages."
