Etixx - Quick-Step has announced the selection for Dwars door Vlaanderen / A travers la Flandre, which takes place on Wednesday, March 23rd.

The 200.2km one-day race, which finishes in Waregem, is the start of the Flemish Cycling Week of the Spring Classics. Dwars door Vlaanderen includes 12 Hellingen including the following: Nieuwe Kwaremont, Kattenberg, Leberg, Berendries, Valkenberg, Eikenberg, Taaienberg, Oude Kwaremont, Paterberg, Hellestraat, Holstraat, and finally Nokereberg. There are also eight cobbled sectors, including Haaghoek (1700m) and Varent (2000m).

Etixx - Quick-Step brings a competitive team to the start of Dwars door Vlaanderen. Riders include Michal Kwiatkowski, UCI World Road Champion and 2nd place overall finisher at Paris-Nice, Mark Cavendish, who most recently won Kuurne-Brussel Kuurne, Nikolas Maes, Iljo Keisse, victorious at Ronde van Zeeland Seaports on Saturday, Yves Lampaert, winner of Driedaagse van West Vlaanderen Stage 1, defending winner Niki Terpstra,  Matteo Trentin, and Guillaume Van Keirsbulck. Terpstra also won the 2012 edition of Dwars door Vlaanderen.
