Samuel Sánchez will spearhead the Euskaltel-Euskadi team at the Giro d’Italia which kicks off in Naples on May 4.

 

At the Italian grand tour Sanchez will be looking to clinch the first win of the season for the Basque team.

 

During the Giro d’Italia Sanchez will be supported by fellow countrymen Gorka Verdugo, Egoi Martinez, Pablo Urtasun, Jorge Azanza, Ricardo Garcia, Miguel Minguez, Slovenian Robert Vrecer and Greek rider Ioannas Tamouridis.
