Caleb Ewan, who will officially join the Orica GreenEDGE Cycling Team on the 1st of October 2014, will start his season at the Tour Down Under with the Jayco AIS team: "To start the season on a race also exposed is a good thing. I'll learn a lot. If I can beat André Greipel it will be a good boost to my confidence. Maybe it's farfetched to announce it, but I will give everything." He told Cyclism’Actu.
Bradley McGee, sports director at Orica GreenEdge, will keep an eye on his progress "This is a guy who will be there to win in the Down Under. The race perfectly fits his qualities and I think he is certainly very motivated to show his abilities to his future teammates. At his age, he has a lot of cool and is very patient. He does not want to cut corners."
