We know everybody that Marc Madiot, the FDJ general manager, is not an adepte of the Internet and social networks. This weekend, a lot of persons was suprised to discover a Twitter account in the name of Marc Madiot was created. 

"I have never had a Twitter account or even Facebook and I do not want to have one," Madiot told L'Equipe. "It's not really nice to discover this kind of thing."

For the record, in one day, the false account Marc Madiot recorded 490 subscribers.

Tour de France race director Christian Prudhomme was also had a fake Twitter account set up in his name this year.
