FDJ.fr have announced that their sponsor, FDJ (the French national lottery) has signed a deal to extend their sponsorship of the team until the end of 2018.

Marc Madiot’s team, led by Thibaut Pinot and Arnaud Demare, has been in existence since 1997, and FDJ have sponsored the team since its inception.

This was announced during FDJ’s team presentation on Thursday in Paris. Madiot says he wants to win another Tour stage and finish top ten overall, as well as a Giro stage, strong performances in home races and some of his riders being selected for the Olympics and Worlds. His biggest dream is to see Arnaud Demare become World Champion.

"Are we allowed to dream?" he asked, before saying: "The elite World Championships title with Arnaud Démare."
