There seems to be no end to the Astana doping cases. Now Artur Fedosseyev has become the fifth rider from the structure to test positive.
Now they are five. Artur Fedosseyev (1994, Continental Astana) has been suspended by the International Cycling Union (UCI) FOR an adverse analytical finding for anabolic androgenic steroids in a sample taken on August 16 during the Tour de l'Ain.
If the Fedosseyev's positive test is confirmed, it will be the fifth in the Astana teams in 2014: both of Maxim and Valentin Iglinskiy who rode for Astana in the WorldTour, tested positive for EPO, and Ilya Davidenok and Victor Okishev from the continental team tested positive for the same substance as Fedosseyev.
The UCI has confirmed the news and Fedosseyev has been provisionally suspended.
