Cult Energy is facing financial problems. Although the Danish formation was recently granted a ProContinental license for next year and so seems to have everything in order for 2016, it appears that things are still more difficult when it comes to covering the costs of the current year. The team still hasn’t paid part of the salaries to its employees.
Bookkeeper Rene Thill stressed that this is the first time they have experienced such problems. "The fact is that I cannot pay a portion of the November salary. I will try to arrange it so that the top earners are paid partly and those with lower incomes will receive their full salary." The team will pay the missing salary in the next few days.
Due to financial difficulties, the team already ended the season on December 13 and for a long time facd a possible demise. In the end, the team was saved when they merged with the German Stölting team.
