The Amstel Gold Race has announced its first three wildcards that will be given to Team Wanty-Gobert, Team Roompot and Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise.

The Dutch classic will be held on April 19 and has granted invitations to the Wanty team of 2012 winner Enrico Gasparotto, the new Roompot team of Erik Breukink, Michael Boogerd and Jean-Poppel van Poppel that had already been guaranteed a spot in the race, and Topsport Vlaanderen who is a perennial participant in the race.

The remaining four invitations will be revealed later.
