Predicting the turn of events and thus the final outcome of the Rotterdam Six Days is becoming increasingly difficult as the lead seems to change randomly from one day to the next.
The Dutch duo consisting of Wim Stroetinga and Raymond Kreder took the lead on the opening night only to lose it the next day and keeping a very low profile since then. Yesterday, however, they bounced back with a commanding performance to regain the lead. They currently sit at least one lap ahead of their nearest rivals. They will most likely be joined by Grasmann/Kneisky this evening as the German/French constellation is close to gaining a bonus lap.
De Ketele/De Pauw and Terpstra/Havik were once again caught out as they were mainly preoccupied with watching over one another like hawks. The two teams may be expected to go on the offensive on the penultimate night later today.
