The 2015 WorldTour is over but there is still a busy week of classics racing coming up. It all culminates with Paris-Tours on Sunday and one of the most important preparation races is Tuesday's Binche-Chimay-Binche which is set to offer the strong sprinters and classics specialists a chance to gear up for the big French race. Starting at 14.45 CEST you can follow the race on CyclingQuotes.com/live.
Binche-Chimay-Binche is held in Wallonia but is more like a Flemish classic. The wind can play a role on the undulating course but it is also set to be decided on the difficult 16km finishing circuit that will be completed four times. It has an uphill finishing straight which includes two cobbled sections and so it is no wonder that it has suited strong sprinters and classics riders. Last year Zdenek Stybar launched a late attack and managed to hold off John Degenkolb to mark a strong return to form after a dramatic crash in the Eneco Tour a few months earlier.
This year Stybar will be back to defend his title as he leads a strong Etixx-QuickStep team that also includes the likes of Niki Terpstra and Gianni Meersman. They will be up against the in-form Lotto Soudal duo of Jens Debusschere and Jurgen Roelandts, Sep Vanmarcke, Marco Marcato, Bjorn Leukemans, Edward Theuns, Matti Breschel, Jonas Van Genechten, Sondre Holst Enger, Roy Jans and Tom Van Asbroeck who can all do well in this kind of finale.
Starting at 14.45 CEST, you can follow the race here.
