Most eyes may be on the classics but some of the best stage race riders are preparing themselves for one of the biggest stage races of the year. The Vuelta al Pais Vasco is both an excellent chance to prepare for the Ardennes classics and a genuine objective for some of the best stage race riders and the mountainous course always offers one of the most exciting races of the year.
