Rob Ruijgh will move from one Belgian Continental team to another. According to 1Limburg, he leaves Crelan-Vastgoedservice to join Superano Ham-Isorex.
The 30-year-old Dutchman expects to do more races on courses that suit him. "We're going to have a great program," said Ruijgh. "I'm looking forward to proving myself."
The former Vacansoleil rider hoped initially for a contract with a Pro Continental team. According to 1Limburg, Roompot showed interest but it came to nothing.
Five years ago Ruijgh finished 20th at the Tour de France. In the same year he was also fourteenth in the Critérium du Dauphiné.
