The US team Cannondale-Garmin will compete in the Volta ao Algarve/Tour of Algarve (18-22 February) with eight riders from six different countries, all with one thing in common: high quality.

 

Portuguese André Cardoso will be the captain of the formation directed by Andreas Klier on the Algarve roads, and he will be joined by three riders of the top 100 in the world: Lithuanian time trial champion, Ramunas Navardauskas, 41st in the world rankings, Dutch road champion Sebastian Langeveld, 96th in the ranking, and Italian climber Davide Formolo, 99th in the world.

 

Slovenian Kristijan Koren, Italian Alan Marangoni, Dutchman Dylan van Baarle and Norwegian Kristoffer Skjerping, third in the U23 road race of the 2014 World Championships, complete the roser.

 

Volta ao Algarve/Tour of Algarve will now feature eight WorldTour teams: Astana, Cannondale-Garmon, Ettix-QuickStep, Katusha, Lotto NL-Jumbo, Lotto Soudal, Movistar and Sky.

 

Five teams of professional continental category will be present: Bora Argon-18, Caja Rural-Seguros RGS, RusVelo, Team Roompot and Wanty-Groupe Gobert. The organizers have also ensured the presence of the six portuguese continental teams and the continental Optum p / b Kelly Benefit Strategies.
