"In 2013, the team of Emmanuel Hubert had already given me my chance. Even if it went well, I had not been maintained and I kept the hunger. When you taste the high level, you hope to return."

The Fortuneo Vital Concept Team now has 20 riders in its ranks for the 2017season. Erwann Corbel, a rider from VCP Loudéac, has signed for one season with the formation of Emmanuel Hubert. The Rennes evolved under there colors in 2013-2014 before doing two seasons with the amateurs. Two of the riders wiil prolong the adventure for another season, Brice Feillu and Arnaud Gérard.

Erwann Corbel  said:

"In 2013, the team of Emmanuel Hubert had already given me my chance. Even if it went well, I had not been maintained and I kept the hunger. When you taste the high level, you hope to return. I rode for the amateur team VCP Loudéac. It motivated me to do two great seasons and once again have a chance. The sporting management of Fortuneo Vital Concept called me this winter to encourage me and tell me that there might be a place for me in the pro team. I am very happy to be part of. I am as motivated as ever. The team did a very good recruiting. When I look at the riders who arrive and those who are still there, it makes you want to ride with them. I wanted to get a lot of wins with this team. I can not wait to be there!"

Sports director Sébastien Hinault  added:

"Erwann Corbel made a good start to the season by winning three rounds of DN1. I think he has achieved a certain maturity, I hope he can show his true qualities next year. It has a second chance to grab. He is a fast rider and there will be opportunities to show himself. He knows fight for position. We also count on him to help Dan McLay or Gianni Meersman in the finale.

"We have almost completed our recruitment. Five riders who join us, have evolved in a World Tour team. They will give us their experience. I think that we will make a step in some races and allow the team to grow.
