After the announcement yesterday of the the arrival of Gianni Meersman, his Etixx QuickStep teammate Maxime Bouet has decide to jointhe sports project of the Breton team The 30-year-old rider has signed a 2-year contract with the team. He will join some of his former Agritubel teammates and manager Emmanuel Hubert who was the manager of his former team too.

"Emmanuel Hubert discovered me when I was an amateur," he said. "It's a great story to sign with him 10 years later. After my experience at AG2R la Mondiale, I wanted to discover a foreign team. There were good and less good things but I learned a lot, I have no regrets. Today, I feel, for the first time in my career, that I am ready try to make the race for myself. The sports management believes that I am capable of doing good things and seeking results. I'll give myself the chance. I often had regrets when I crossed the line.
