Vegard Breen (1990, Lotto-Soudal) will ride for Fortuneo-Vital Concept (Bretagne-Séché Environnement in 2015) in 2016. He is the seventh new signing for the French team which now has a 23-rider roster.
After promising U23 career, Breen turned professional with Lotto last year. In 2014, he did the Vuelta a Espana, but this year he only had 35 days of competition.
Breen joins Francis Mourey (FDJ), Steven Tronet (Auber 93), Franck Bonnamour (stagiare), Julien Loubet (Team Marseille), Chris-Anker Sorensen (Saxo-Tinkoff) and Boris Vallée (Lotto-Soudal) as newcomers to the French team.
Emmanuel Hubert, general manager, has added WorldTour experience to his team which is led by Eduardo Sepulveda, Pierrick Fedrigo and Yauheni Hutarovich and also includes U23 world champion Kevin Ledanois.
The French team made the jump to the Professional Continental category in 2011 and has done the last two editions of the Tour de France. They won the Coupe de France in both 2014 and 2015.
