The racing is coming thick and fast now with Team Sky taking part in three races during our busiest week of the season.

Chris Froome will make his eagerly-awaited 2015 debut at the Ruta del Sol (February 18-22) and will go toe-to-toe with the likes of Alberto Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) in this mountainous five-day race which features a split stage to kick things off on Wednesday.

Froome is backed up by a team brimming with climbing talent. Nicolas Roche makes his first Team Sky appearance and will be aiming to hit the ground running as road captain, and Peter Kennaugh, Vasil Kiryienka, Mikel Nieve, Kanstantsin Siutsou and Xabier Zandio will all provide valuable support once the road ramps upwards.

From Spain to Portugal, and Richie Porte will lead the Team Sky charge at the Volta ao Algarve (February 18-22). Porte has demonstrated some fine early-season form so far by claiming the Australian time trial title, and won the queen stage at the Tour Down Under before battling his way to second overall. The Tasmanian will be looking to go one better in Algarve, and repeat his very first Team Sky race win back in 2012.

This race favours the all-rounder, and the eight-man squad looks strong on any terrain. Lars-Petter Nordhaug is back in Team Sky colours for the first time since 2012 and will be aiming to pick right up where he left off. The Norwegian will back Porte up in the mountains along with Ian Boswell, Sebastian Henao and Geraint Thomas.

Salvatore Puccio is a key addition on any terrain, and Andy Fenn and Ben Swift also give options in the sprints.

If that wasn’t enough, our trip to the Arabia is far from over, with the Tour of Oman (February 17-22) arguably providing the sternest test in the Gulf.

Leopold König and Wout Poels will head up our general classification ambitions there.  König impressed in his first two outings in Majorca last month while debutant Poels has been training hard with Chris Froome in South Africa.

Philip Diegnan, Nathan Earle and David Lopez will help slingshot that duo into contention on the hillier days, while Christian Knees and Danny Pate look after them on the flats, as well as helping Chris Sutton out in the sprints.

Full line-ups:

Tour of Oman
Philip Deignan, Nathan Earle, Christian Knees, Leopold König, David Lopez, Danny Pate, Wout Poels and Chris Sutton.
