Chris Froome has been shortlisted for the 2015 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award.
Froome has made the 12-strong list following an historic campaign which saw him become the first British rider ever to win the Tour de France on two occasions.
As well as that monumental triumph, he also topped the King of the Mountains classification at the Tour, and won the Criterium du Dauphine and Ruta del Sol in yet another stellar season for Team Sky.
Voting will take place on the evening of Sunday 20 December and will be open to UK viewers, but you can show your support for Froome right now by using the hashtag #VoteFroome!
"It's a real honour to be named in the shortlist for Sports Personality of the Year," said Froome.
"To be recognised alongside the achievements of the other 12 names on the list is very special. 2015 has been a fantastic year for everyone at Team Sky and I'd like to thank all of my teammates, coaches and support staff for their hard work and dedication. I wouldn't have been able to achieve what I did without their support, so this recognition is for them as much as me."
This nomination is Froome's second in the space of three years - he was also shortlisted following his first Tour win in 2013.
The 30 year old is hoping to become the second Team Sky rider to collect the highly-coveted prize after Bradley Wiggins did just that following his Tour victory in 2012. Wiggins was the fourth cyclist to receive the award after Tom Simpson, Chris Hoy and Mark Cavendish.
Dave Brailsford is also no stranger to the star-studded ceremony, having won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Coach Award in both 2008 and 2012.
This year's awards take place at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Sunday 20 December. Women's world champion Lizzie Armitstead has also been shortlisted.
