After the crash in the Tour de San Luis in Argentina, Oscar Gatto is finding a his best condition. This is demonstrated by the results obtained in the first European races, where the Vicenza rider has always finished in the top 10: sixth at the GP Costa degli Etruschi and ninth yesterday at the finish line of the Clasica de Almeria. 

In the Iberian race - which was won by former World Champion Mark Cavendish - Androni sprinter David Appollonio had bad luck. The Italian was in the front of the peloton but couldn't do the sprint after he got involved in a crash with 1km to go, fortunately without consequences. After returning from Spain, the Italian-Venezuelan team will participate in the Trofeo Laigueglia on Thursday and in the Tour du Haut Var in France from Saturday to Sunday.
