Geniez still has a "very sore shoulder.". In the coming week, he will have several sessions with an osteopath. The priority forGeniez and FDJ remains the Tour de France which begins next Saturday in Utrecht.
In another statement from the team, it was announced that the recent 8th place finisher in the Tour de Suisse, Swiss rider Steve Morabito, suffers from a cold and will also skip his national road race.
