After Cult Energy has decided to end its cooperation with Stölting Group, the future of the Cult-Stölting team is suddenly very uncertain. Linus Gerdemann hopes, however, that there will be a short-term solution and feels confident that it will be found.
"Last week we said that we are working on a solution, and those were not empty words. We have good reason to remain hopeful that it comes," he told radsport-news. "I hope that we will find a soution at the beginning of next week.”
After Cult made the announcement, Stölting claimed to be very surprised by the decision. "We belive Cult Energy simply wanted to get out of the sponsorship contract because they can’t afford it," the team said in a press release.
