Simon Gerrans has enjoyed an excellent start to his 2014 season and he will look to continue that trend at the Paris-Nice in the hope of extending his good run of form into the coveted spring Classics.
According to Spaziociclismo.it the Australian team will include one of the protagonists of the month of January, Simon Gerrans, who will be looking to reach peak condition prior to the Classics. The overall winner of the Tour Down Under might also fancy his chances of overall success in this year’s edition of the French race which sees various tough but not overly demanding stages, besides the fact that there will be an individual time trial. Rival teams will also be forced to pay attention to Michael Albasini, a rider who is always ready to surprise on mixed routes.
Gerrans and Albasini will be joined by sprinters Matthew Goss and Michael Matthews while Jens Keukeleire, Mitchell Docker, Matthew Hayman and the young Simon Yates complete the Orica-GreenEDGE line-up.
