Philippe Gilbert won’t start the Trofeo Laigueglia, the first race of the season on Italian soil, tomorrow morning, as the Belgian is suffering from stomach problems.

 

Gilbert his first league kilometers of the season at the Tour of Qatar, but he will not be riding in Italy. It is unknown for now of his problems will keep him out of the Belgian Classics opening weekend.
