Rafal Majka is ready for the new season. After six seasons at Tinkoff, the Polish rider will wear the jersey of Bora - Hansgrohe . Until a few weeks ago, the Olympic bronze medallist seemed to be targeting a Giro-Vuelta double, but now the calendar has changed, with the Tour de France replacing the Iberian race.
"At the Giro I'll have a strong team ready to support me,” Majka tol Eurosport. “The team wanted me to do the Vuelta, but in the end I prefer the Tour de France. I would like to finish the Giro in the top three, or in the worst case in the top 5. I really like the course and I have a chance to get a good result.”
Regarding the rest of the season, Majka explained that he will start the season in February by participating in the Dubai Tour or the Tour of Oman before taking the start of the Volta ao Algarve. Compared to 2016, the Pole will then skip Paris - Nice in favour of Tirreno - Adriatico.
