Andrea Guardini who won four stages at the Tour de Langkawi, cannot confirm that he will be present at the start of the Giro d'Italia this season. The Astana rider explained that the team will be built around Vincenzo Nibali who will aim the pink jersey.
"I don’t know because I haven’t a specific program for after April," Guardini told Cyclingnews. "I hope to be in the Giro d’Italia, but I know it will be really hard because we have a strong team for Vincenzo Nibali. I hope there is a place for me, but we will see. Maybe there will be a Vuelta a España."
