While this year’s Tour de France champion, Vincenzo Nibali, called the idea of the flamboyant Russian “inhuman” and ruled himself out of such competition, five-time la Grande Boucle winner Bernard Hinault insists that the task – even if difficult – is feasible.

Hinault met Nibali, Francesco Moser and Felice Gimondi to celebrate this year’s Tour de France victory of the Astana captain at the Conegliano Gran Gala and the three Grand Tour challenge was broadly discussed by gentlemen.
