Johnny Hoogerland is ready for a new adventure. 

His season started last Sunday at the GP Costa degli Etruschi, and it is a crucial one for the Dutch rider and for the Androni–Venezuela team, which own over him pointing to the quantum leap in the races of the North for the leap in view of the forthcoming reform of cycling. 

Aware of the need to wait for the invitations, and for this to be noticed on every race, the former Vacansoleil –DCM rider knows that "all races will be important " and therefore he is willing to do "a good season" in general, he explains "I do not want to point to a particular race" , although clearly in his eyes, two races take priority: the Tour of Italy and the Tour of Flanders.

"In an Italian team is normal for the Tour of Italy is important," he announces, explaining, however, of "wanting to do well in Flanders " and had not yet identified a prime target for the Corsa Rosa, probably preferring to see how he evolves the race, in which "every achievement is important," which is a stage win and the fight for the blue jersey of best climber.
