Racing on a home soil again after signing a contract with the Airgas-Safeway outfit, Christopher Horner revealed that he would like to compete in some cyclo-cross events again during next winter break.
The 43-year old American rider claims that more of his team mates could be interested in competing in this kind of events and he would eagerly provide them with a proper accomodation as many of cyclo-cross races are held in the area he lives in.
"I'm working it out with Marin Bikes right now to set up some 'cross stuff, and we'll see how much Airgas-Safeway as a whole, because I think there are a few kids who do it, too, wants to get involved,” Horner said, according to Cyclingnews.
“I've got a new big RV rig, so if the kids want to come we've got a place to stay at the races,” Horner said. “We've got a place to stay warm, get it going good and put on a show for the fans. I like doing 'cross.”
