The Belgian races continue this week with the Samyn and the Three Days of West Flanders. After a good start to the classics campaign, Hugo Houle could find the way of victory this week. He will also rely on fighters like Alexis Gougeard.

However, Ag2r-La Mondiale will have to do without Sébastien Turgot who is suffering from tendinitis that started during the Tour du Haut Var. He hopes to recover quickly and be present for the continuation of the classics campaign. Having finished 2nd in the 2012 Paris-Roubaix and 10th in 2013, he will do his best to be ready for the Hell of the North on April 12.

In his absence, Houle will lead the French team.

"I worked hard this winter, I returned earlier to France to benefit from better training conditions. I was a little surprised to finish third in the time trial of the Tour de San Luis. For me, it's still my biggest performance. I am satisfied with my first race weekend in Belgium, I could see that I had made good progress since last year. I asked for a lot of racing in the early season (Houle has 15 race days). About the coming week, I want to do well on the Driedaagse Van West Vlaanderen prologue. Last year the winner of the prologue won the overall."
